A private chauffeured day across the peninsula isn't a coach tour. It's your group in a sedan, SUV, or sprinter — sized for who's along — pulling off at the right viewpoints in the right order. You pick the focus; we handle gate fees, parking, and the timing.
Day 1 — 17-Mile Drive, slow
9:30am · Pickup at hotel. Enter the 17-Mile Drive at the Highway 1 gate. Day-use fee handled by the driver. First pullouts at Spanish Bay for the beach and the bagpiper warm-ups.
11:00am · The Lone Cypress stop. Five minutes, photos, back in the car. Bird Rock is the better wildlife pullout right after — seals and cormorants close enough to count.
12:30pm · Long lunch at Stillwater Bar & Grill at The Lodge — patio over the 18th green, ocean behind. See dining.
2:30pm · Finish the loop counter-clockwise, exit at the Pacific Grove gate. Walk Lovers Point or sit at the tide pools.
5:30pm · Back at hotel with time to change for dinner.
Day 2 — Point Lobos + Carmel Beach
9:00am · Point Lobos State Reserve.Get there before the lot fills. Two hours of trails — Cypress Grove and Whalers Cove are the two everyone does. Sea otters, harbor seals, dramatic cliffs that aren't gated.
12:00pm · Lunch back in Carmel-by-the-Sea — walkable from where the driver drops, so the car is parked.
2:30pm · Carmel Beach. Bring something warm; the wind picks up after lunch.
4:30pm · Stop at the Mission on the way back if the gates are still open.
Day 3 — Monterey Bay + Cannery Row
9:30am · Monterey Bay Aquarium. Reserve tickets ahead. Two to three hours. The kelp forest tank is still the best one anywhere. See Cannery Row.
12:30pm · Cannery Row lunch — Sardine Factory if you want the white-tablecloth version, casual otherwise.
2:30pm · Pacific Grove walking — Lovers Point, the recreational trail, the historic inns on Lighthouse Avenue.
4:30pm · Optional: Old Fisherman's Wharf for sea lions and a beer. Otherwise back to Carmel for dinner.
Logistics notes
Pebble Beach charges a day-use fee on the 17-Mile Drive — handled by the driver, refunded if you eat at one of the resort restaurants. Gate entrance can stack on busy days; the chauffeur exit at Spanish Bay is usually the fastest. For wedding-week or tournament traffic, build 20 extra minutes into the morning.
